I've never seen any godly shields that require STRENGTH(not tactics).

Shields like...

Armor: 16
+45 health while in a stance
Received damage -2 while in a stance

I've seen some godly shields that require tactics.

Do godly shield that require strength exist?

Since Shields are tied to tactics I`d assume not but I don`t know for sure.

Actually quite a few sheilds require strength and they have the same possible mods as tactics one, so i guess it does exist.

I have a Tower shield Armor:12, req. 7 strength

Not a godly shield but that's just what I have at the moment.

I have a 16 armour Shadow Shield that requires 7 strength. I'm pretty sure Magma Shields are strength-based too.

Can you put runes on shields?

Nope, sorry but that's not possible, that would give a potential huge advantage to warriors over the other classes.

And further, in response to the title topic - Yes, it seems that if there is any determining factor that means a shield cannot be strength based it is an aesthetic one (it seems to be more likely that certain types of shields have strength requirements, or even that certain types can only have certain requirements!) It's most likely to be the case that people just don't sell them once they get them! I could imagine them being quite useful within guilds, so inside trading and the finder keeping the object themselves could be why you've never seen one.

There are no "godly" shields/swords/etc in the game.

Yes the sheild does exist. They are very rare do to most sheilds being tact based. Good luck in your search.

I have a Gold shield that I just found: 16 armour (some kind of health boost..can't recall at the moment) and requires Strength. I don't think (or know) if it's "godly" though..

Sadly..I'm not a Warrior though so I haven't been able to use it

i use the godly shield req 9 strength on PVP.

strength based shields:
defender/tower shield
shadow shield
eternal shield
magma shield

they can have the same possible mods as any tactics shields. so to answer your question, yes.

No this is not possible because only the collector has +45 in stance the max on gold shields is +30 in stance so your better off looking for a +30 Always -2 Dmg in stance.

Yes, they do exist, but unfortunately they are insanely expensive.

I know I carry a +43 Health while enchanted/-2 Damage while enchanted Defender that I bought off of coolyguy a long time ago for 300K.

That's why more warriors have moved to Tactics because they know they can get Malinon's Shield or the Crimson Carapace Stance/Hexed Shields for much, much cheaper.

They are not as common as the tactics shield, thus why they are normally more expensive. the collectors tactics shield = 5 bleached shells or roughly 5-6k depending on price, a str based shadow/tower/defender/magma/shadow shield with same stats = roughly 75-100k+

some of the green shields are strength based also, and are as good or better than most shields in the game. Check out guildwiki for details.

also, please don't use the term "godly".

I sold a nice req. 9 strength based shield in the Buy section of this site (+45, -2 dmg enchanted) for a big fistful of ectos, grin. I now use a similar strength-based shield, (6 less HP, 10 req. but otherwise identical) for my w/mo. So these shields are out there, just expensive.
